HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer)

An Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is the highest-ranking person on board an offshore installation, such as a platform or rig. They are responsible for the overall safety, efficiency, and compliance of the installation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the installation
• Managing the installation’s budget and resources
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Developing and implementing safety plans and procedures
• Responding to emergencies and incidents
• Managing the installation’s personnel

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in the offshore industry
• A strong understanding of offshore operations and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is often required
