FRC (Fast Rescue Craft) Course

Purpose:

• To train individuals to operate Fast Rescue Crafts (FRCs) safely and effectively in emergency situations at sea.
• To ensure personnel are competent in launching, recovering, and operating FRCs in various sea and weather conditions.

  • Theoretical Aspects:
    • Construction and outfitting of FRCs and associated equipment
    • Launch and recovery procedures
    • Operation of FRCs and their engines  
    • Navigation and safety equipment
    • Emergency procedures
    • Communication protocols
    • Search and rescue techniques
    • First aid and life-saving techniques
